How XionShield collects, uses, and protects data related to reports, IDs, and moderation decisions. Status: Beta

At a glance
- We process identifiers (e.g., platform IDs), report metadata, evidence links, moderator IDs, timestamps, and outcomes.
- Purpose: fraud/abuse prevention, trust & safety, network-wide enforcement, auditability.
- Legal basis (EU/EEA): Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests) and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(a) (consent) or Art. 6(1)(b) (contract).
What we collect
- Player IDs and linked account identifiers (hashes where feasible).
- Report details (reason, evidence URLs, reporter/moderator IDs).
- Decision logs (votes, timestamps, outcomes, appeal status).
- Technical logs (IP, user-agent) to secure the Service.
Why we collect it
- Prevent known cheaters from re-entering participating servers.
- Enable transparent, auditable moderation with Discord context.
- Detect abuse of the reporting system.
Retention
We retain decision logs for as long as necessary to protect the network and resolve appeals. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.
Sharing
Data may be shared with participating servers and required processors strictly for the purposes described here. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights (EU/EEA)
- Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR).
- Complaint: your local supervisory authority.
Security
We apply least privilege, audit logs, and encryption in transit. Admin actions are traceable to staff accounts.

Changes
